My role and journey
CaratLane was totally one of our coolest clients, and guess who was leading the pack on the CaratLane EZ app? Yours truly! Our epic duo of product designers unleashed their creative awesomeness for a whole year.
We didn't just sit around; we hit up CaratLane stores, vibing with customers and sales hustlers. We got the lowdown on their issues, wishlist, and what they were craving.
We cooked up a rad plan to make shopping lit and turn the app into a superhero for our sales squad, levelling up those customer convos.
After that, it was all about the nitty-gritty. We sketched and structured stuff like mad scientists. Our ideas evolved like Pokémon on steroids.
Design iterations? Too many to count! We brought our vision to life with hardcore crafting, testing, and tweaking. And finally, we dropped the bombshell in India, shaking up the jewellery game with some serious innovation.

Problems and its solutions
Billing – a drag
Billing took more than 20 minutes, which left impatient customers second-guessing their choices.
What did we do? EZ Sales slashed that wait time to a cool 2.5 minutes for all app orders. We're aiming for 100% adoption in just two months. 🚀
Fluctuating gold pricing
Dealing with daily gold price fluctuations was a challenge. Lack of real-time digital system.
What did we do? Our real-time pricing system, seamlessly integrated with our stores, provides up-to-the-minute gold prices, ensuring customers make informed decisions.
History and data
Discovering previous orders, wishlists, coupons, & was a headache, for customers & consultants.
What did we do? Now, every customer gets a personalized experience. They can track orders, revisit their wishlists, and see their likes and dislikes in one convenient session.
Taking home a product
Finding products was a maze – But there was no easy way to track SKUs and their locations.
What did we do? Choose to pick up now, grab it from a nearby store, or have it delivered. We've changed the game, making it so natural and seamless that you won't believe how you managed without it!
