I began my journey at Sparklin as an intern in October 2020, steadily progressing from the role of an Associate UX Designer to a UX Designer. Presently, I hold the position of Senior UX Designer. Equipped with architectural experience upon joining, I navigated and learned along the way, collaborating with diverse teams on various projects for esteemed clients such as ICICI Bank, Chaayos, and CaratLane.
Currently, I am at the forefront of redefining ICICI Bank's web platform. My focus is on pushing the boundaries of internet banking norms in India, aiming for an innovative and user-centric experience. In addition to leading the ICICI Bank project,
I actively manage and train a team of 8 designers, to ensure their effectiveness and uphold high standards of creativity & project delivery.
CaratLane — Omni channel, in-store app for CaratLane stores
Created an app, designed to simplify the shopping experience for customers and to empower sales assistants with the right tools for personalized in-store assistance. The app caters to both customers and sales assistants, ensuring a seamless experience for all.
Whether a product is available in the customer's store, a different local store, or even in a different city, EZSales facilitates it. Billing, which was previously time-consuming, has been streamlined to a sleek 2.5 minutes for all app orders, marking an 8x improvement from the previous system. We achieved our goal for 100% adoption within two months.
Customers now enjoys a tailored journey—tracking orders, reward points, revisiting wishlists, and reviewing preferences seamlessly in a single session. Notably, I spearheaded and implemented these improvements, ensuring a user-friendly experience. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in making change management successful, enhancing overall efficiency & customer satisfaction.
ICICI Bank – Web experience
Discover: A module in the iMobile app of ICICI Bank, aiding users in tracking their financial health, budgeting, and monitoring expenses. Simplifying the understanding of income, expenditures in various categories like groceries, medical, or investments has been our focus. We've gamified budgeting, making it easy for people to create and track their budgets, incorporating engaging graphs to flatten the learning curve.
Web platform for ICICI: The ongoing revamp of the entire web digital platform for ICICI Bank redefines Indian banking with enhanced navigation, aesthetics, smoother flows, and improved user understanding. The website is set to go live in July 2024, addressing and solving various challenges.
Design system for ICICI Bank: Developed a design system for ICICI Bank, to keep track and utilise the repository we have created for ICICI Bank. It serves as a comprehensive repository, encapsulating their beliefs, values, components, designs, and use cases, facilitating efficient creation of experiences amidst the constant influx of new features and flows.
A system that feels intuitive and natural, making the experience seamless, it has become so ingrained that imagining any other way seems impossible—it simply works.
In the hope to try my hand at the digital aspect of design, I started exploring digital art. It started as a way to depict some thought through abstract art, which would be a way for others to feel a certain way in their spaces. Soon it got developed into a platform that sells in-house art, for people to hang in their homes, which could encourage dialogue, gave them the opportunity to let it, reflect upon something that is represented by their art to them.
ABLA Delhi, is one of the most prestigious architectural studios in Delhi, that specialises in sustainable and affordable housing. Joined here as an intern, and played a key role in prototyping a live-size housing unit, made with some in-house green technologies, sustainable practices, and affordable materials. This was also later converted into a movie, where we lived and documented how would it really be in living in these small homes, with flexible spaces, natural cooling - small yet spacious beautiful homes.
Led a national level competition for green housing, where a government housing was challenged and redeveloped. The revamped complex had more and better houses for people, with better open greens, and well utilised water body on the side.
