Understanding the problem is key, but what added excitement to finding solutions was delving into existing ones. Tweaking, with innovation limited to a portion, led to something adaptable. It facilitated experimenting when needed and sticking to the current when logical – the only path to creating something truly functional in reality!

Information Void:

Information Void:

Information Void:

Lack of clear guidance about what's needed to bring any event – from a cozy dinner to a lavish wedding – to life.

Current behaviour

Every event is basically built upon what the planner already knows or digs up from buddies or fam. It takes a bunch of events to figure out the do's and don'ts. Like, who knew you could rent out chandeliers or score a light guru? Or even have the caterers match the cutlery to the vibe?

2.

Overwhelming Workload

Overwhelming Workload

Overwhelming Workload

The sheer volume of work and countless details that go into planning and executing

an event.

Current behaviour

People juggling multiple tasks know the drill – days and nights filled with planning. Notes everywhere, reminders set, bugging people for vendor tips, and fingers crossed for that seamless outcome.

3.

Collaboration Complexities

Collaboration Complexities

Collaboration Complexities

Ochestrating teamwork. Coordinating responsibilities, clear communication, and aligning everyone's efforts while managing moving parts.

Current behaviour

Great planners aren't afraid to seek help. They delegate, track progress, and message non-stop to get things done. Sometimes it takes over-the-top communication to nail it. At the same time, they have to limit to the number of people they can get in on it, else managing it becomes a whole new task.

4.

Concept to Reality:

Concept to Reality:

Concept to Reality:

Bridging the gap between imagination & feasible execution. Lack of problem-solving resourcefulness, & a touch of magic to make dreams tangible.

Current behaviour

The top-notch planners usually create Pinterest boards, scout for the nearest possible alternatives, and hope for a result as enchanting as their Pinterest vision. But let's be real, it rarely turns out that way.

7.

Vendor Challenges:

Vendor Challenges:

Vendor Challenges:

Finding trustworthy vendors to materialize any event. Be it securing floral arrangements, catering, or a DJ – the quest for reliable partners.

Current behaviour

People usually go for vendors they've tested before or those recommended by family or friends. It's a no-go zone for wild experimentation or stepping outside the comfort zone.

6.

Host's Burden

Host's Burden

Host's Burden

Unwanted shifts from enjoyment to ensuring smooth operations.

Current behaviour

As of now, the only real solution is to hire an event manager. If individuals handle things themselves, that's pretty much their entire role during the event.

5.

Budget Management

Budget Management

Budget Management

Setting, allocating, tracking, managing and achieving event finances.

Current behaviour

Most people start with a rough budget, either keeping track mentally or scribbling it down. But here's the catch – more often than not, they end up exceeding the budget or having zilch left for those last-minute cool things. You know, like stepping up the lighting game or snagging post-op housekeeping services.

A batch of 40-50 people, spanning the age range of 20 to 45, were interviewed. Was curious to know about their event scene – whether they're the ones throwing the parties or just having a blast at them. Got into the nitty-gritty: party sizes, vibes, how much sweat it takes, and the bumps they hit along the way.

What was unearthed? The challenges that were identified are like the puzzle pieces that need to be sorted out. They are the real deal. These formed the core issues that the app is gearing up to address head-on!

EXIT NOTE

EXIT NOTE

EXIT NOTE

Heyy, you!

I'm stoked you made it all the way here! But before we part ways, let's talk about turning this wild idea into a real deal someday.

As a product human, this passion project sprung out of nowhere and quickly became something. But let me tell you, what you've seen so far is merely the tip of the iceberg, the potential here is like a supernova of possibilities.

Imagine this: Panache – struts onto the scene as your ultimate event sidekick. It swoops in and tackles those pesky tasks like delegation, follow-ups, and those relentless reminders, all wrapped up in a slick layer of automation. That means you're free to unleash your creative beast while the nitty-gritty is taken care of like magic.

Now, if I manage to bring this dream to life (fingers crossed!), here's the grand scheme. (Jotting it down, so that if I don’t do it, I hope someone else does!).

First off, we're cooking up a powerhouse database filled to the brim with the crème de la crème of vendors. Get ready – you'll soon be crafting events like a seasoned pro. And my pièce de résistance? Budget mastery. You'll wield the power to allocate funds like a financial virtuoso.

Hold up, there's more in store. Imagine diving into the sweet spot of collaboration. It's the junction where brilliance and teamwork collide in the most electrifying way. Picture minds fusing together to conjure up events that defy the norms.

Somewhere along this epic journey, I've got this vision of a blog haven. A place where event wizards reveal their secrets, spin tales, and lend a hand to those venturing into the event planning realm. With this platform, who needs traditional event planners anymore? Or, for those who love a challenge, they can harness Panache to supercharge their event prowess.

Huge thanks for riding this excitement rollercoaster with me. If you genuinely did read through, happy to receive feedback from you!

Thanks in advance! Catch you on the flip side!

Stay savvy
